Volunteers needed in Metamora this week

(METAMORA, Ind.) – Want to help the people impacted by the flood in Metamora?

Organizers are seeking more volunteers to help with debris cleanup this week. 

“There are still people with water in their basements and other residents who simply need help cleaning up,” said Franklin County Tourism Director Bev Spurlin. 

You can get involved by visiting the Grist Mill or the Sap Bucket in Metamora. 

Earlier Monday, there was a need for lunches for volunteers. Those requests have been fulfilled for the time being.
