(BRIGHT, Ind.) – An 89-year-old man was flown to the hospital after a farming accident in Dearborn County on Monday night.
The farmer was bushhogging a field when a tree fell and pinned him to the tractor, the Bright Fire Department stated.
He had been stuck for more than an hour when a neighbor found him around 8:30 p.m.
Bright firefighters and the Harrison Fire Department responded and worked to get the man removed.
“We also received help from some local farmers who came with tractors,” the department stated.
The man was flown to a Cincinnati hospital with what is believed to be non-life threatening injuries.
