Man killed in crash involving semi on Causeway Road in Franklin County

(BROOKVILLE, Ind.) – An Everton man was killed after a two-vehicle crash involving a semi on Friday night.
The crash happened around 10:30 p.m. on Causeway Road near the intersection with Saltwell Road.
Franklin County deputies say 52-year-old William Pearson was driving eastbound when his vehicle crossed the center line while entering a curve and collided head-on with a Mack semi truck.
Pearson was pronounced dead at the scene by the Franklin County Coroner’s Office.
A passenger in his vehicle had to be extricated was rushed to a Cincinnati hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the semi truck was not hurt.
The crash remains under investigation by the Franklin County Sheriff's Office. Blooming Grove Volunteer Fire, Brookville Fire and Letts EMS also assisted on the scene.
