Man lifelined after jumping off I-74 overpass in Greensburg

(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – A man was seriously hurt after jumping off of an I-74 overpass in Greensburg on Wednesday.
The incident happened around 3 p.m. at the 132 mile marker overpass which is near Honda.
Police say the man was lifelined to an Indianapolis hospital where his current condition is not known. His identity is also not being released.
I-74 was closed for a short period of time as first responders rendered aid to the man.
Agencies that respond included the Greensburg Police Department, Greensburg Fire Department, Decatur County Communications, Decatur County Sheriff’s Department, Decatur County EMS, Shelbyville Fire Department, Lifeline Medical Transport and Decatur County Animal Control.
