Metamora Castle now offering overnight stays

(METAMORA, Ind.) – The Metamora Castle is now available for overnight stays.

The castle was built by Paul Hendricks and it was inspired by his deep Christian faith and passion for Metamora. He was a teacher, world traveler, storyteller and popular local figure before passing away in 2025.

It is now owned by Brandon Dougherty and Alicia Tucker and their goal is to honor the castle’s legacy, restore it with integrity, and transform it into a destination for intimate weddings, gatherings, retreats, and meaningful experiences.   

They are now opening up the castle for 2-night minimum overnight stays. 

Amenities include a hot tub, kitchen, 3 bedrooms, 4 beds, washer and dryer, sanctuary, projector and views over the Whitewater Valley area.

The 40-acre property offers privacy and is about 860 feet above sea level. 

Costs are $500 per night for Sunday through Thursday, Fridays are $650 and Saturdays are $750.

“Yes, we're also officially accepting reservations for intimate weddings and private parties! We'll be sharing more about those packages very soon,” the owners said.
