Meth, explosive device found during Madison police raid

(MADISON, Ind.) – Six people were arrested a part of a drug investigation in Madison.
Police began investigating a home in downtown Madison for suspected drug use in early December. Investigators say they received probable cause that methamphetamine was inside the home.
Madison Police raided the home this past Saturday and say they found multiple packages of methamphetamine and a live explosive device.
The Indiana State Police Explosive Ordinance Disposal team was called and successfully removed the explosive from the home.
54-year-old Jennifer Rowlett was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine, Neglect of a Dependent and Possession of a Destructive Device.
53-year-old Earnest McKeand Jr., 38-year-old Robert McGaughey III, 27-year-old Hannah Jines, 37-year-old Michael Bowen, and 29-year-old Courtney Jines were also arrested on various charges.
