Milan food pantry seeking donations July 3

(MILAN, Ind.) – The Milan Food Pantry is hosting a food drive on Friday, July 3. 

Residents can drop off donations at the pantry during First Baptist Church's ice cream social. It is located at 207 South Main Street.

“We will also collect on Saturday, July 4 at the pantry from 7:45 p.m. until the start of the parade,” said volunteer Maggie Hopping. 

Some items they are accepting include spaghetti, canned chicken, tuna, syrup, rice, soup, canned vegetables, crackers, and other items that can be put in a microwave. 

You can also donate anytime by calling (812) 756-3149 on Tuesdays from 9-6 p.m.
