Milan woman hurt after truck rear ends car in Decatur Co.

(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – A Milan woman has been hospitalized after a box truck crashed into a vehicle on Monday morning. 

The crash happened around 8:20 a.m. at the intersection of State Road 3 and County Road 250 West. 

Decatur County deputies say 23-year-old Harmeet Singh, of Indianapolis, was driving the box truck that slammed into a car that was stopped at a red light.

That car was driven by 34-year-old Brittany Richmond and she was flown to an Indianapolis hospital for non-life threatening injuries. 

Singh was not injured and the crash remains under investigation.

The Decatur County Sheriff’s Department was assisted by Greensburg Fire, Greensburg Police, Decatur County EMS, Decatur County Communications, Tim’s Wrecker Service and TDS Towing.
