(BATESVILLE, Ind.) – Margaret Mary Health will recognize two local photographers when the hospital opens next month.
The hospital will feature a collection of photos by Dr. Steve Glaser as well as Carson Hughes.
Dr. Glaser captures nature photos around Southeast Indiana and donates the profits to the American Cancer Society. You can access his website here.
18-year-old Carson Hughes was a passionate wildlife and nature photographer who captured images around Versailles State Park as well as national parks across the nation.
Carson unexpectedly passed away in March 2024. Learn more about the Carson Hughes Memorial Foundation here.
“These images do more than brighten our spaces — they celebrate the creativity within our community while showcasing the natural beauty of southeast Indiana,” Margaret Mary Health said on Facebook.
The new hospital is expected to open on August 8 and there will be a community open house from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, August 2.
