Moores Hill teen seriously hurt in paramotor crash

(OSGOOD, Ind.) – A Moores Hill teenager was seriously hurt after a paramotor crash.
It happened in the area of Shook Street and County Road 300 North around 7:30 p.m. Thursday.
Ripley County deputies say 18-year-old Timothy Miller had taken off and was gaining altitude when a gust of wind occurred.
“Miller lost control of his aircraft, which caused him to crash into a metal shelving unit on the property, causing significant injuries to his person,” stated the Ripley County Sheriff’s Department.
Miller was aircared to a Cincinnati hospital and his current condition is not known.
The sheriff’s office was assisted by Osgood Fire, Ripley County EMS, the Federal Aviation Administration, Ripley County Communications an Stat Flight 5.
