Morris VFD hosting breakfast hours after fire

(MORRIS, Ind.) – The community is invited to the Morris Volunteer Fireman’s Breakfast from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday.
The breakfast is taking place just hours after the fire department was called to assist with the fire at the UPS Shipping Hub in Versailles.
Morris was called because of their Rapid Intervention Team (RIT) as other departments searched the building due to the heavy smoke.
The breakfast is taking place at St. Anthony Hall in Morris and consists of pancakes, sausage, eggs and biscuits and gravy.
It’s a free-will donation with all proceeds going toward new fire equipment.
The 812 will have more details on the UPS Versailles fire on Sunday morning.
