Motorcyclist airlifted after crash in Metamora on Saturday

(METAMORA, Ind.) – One person was airlifted after a motorcycle crash in Metamora on Saturday morning.

The accident happened around 11:15 a.m. on McGuire Ridge Road.

Metamora firefighters say the motorcyclist had went down into an embankment. 

First responders worked for approximately 15 minutes to get the victim removed from the embankment.

The victim was airlifted to University of Cincinnati for undisclosed injuries. Their identity has also not been released.

The Metamora Volunteer Fire Department was assisted by Letts EMS.
