National Day of Prayer event in Batesville Thurdsay

(BATESVILLE, Ind.) – A National Day of Prayer event will be held in Batesville on Thursday. 

It will be held from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. at the Southeast Indiana YMCA. It will be by the pickleball courts if the weather is nice, or will it be inside. 

The Kiwanis is hosting the event in coordination with area churches, the Southeastern Indiana YMCA, the Rotary and Lions Club and the City of Batesville. 

The National Day of Prayer was enacted in 1952 and takes place on the first Thursday of May.
