North Decatur basketball raises money for Cancer Care Fund

(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – The North Decatur girls basketball team hosted the annual ‘Hooping for a Cure’ game on Friday night. 

It began with a ceremony where both the Lady Chargers and Waldron joined together to remember those who have been lost to cancer. 

That was followed by the basketball program honoring survivors who were in attendance. 

Throughout the game the crowd donated to the Hospital Foundation of Decatur County’s Cancer Care Fund. 

The Cancer Care Fund provides financial assistance and resources to support patients and their families during their cancer journey. 

The initiative will continue Saturday as the North Decatur boys team will also collect donations for the Cancer Care Fund.
