North Decatur receives $5K T-Mobile grant

(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – The North Decatur football team had plenty to celebrate on Friday. 

They had an easy victory and also celebrated Homecoming. 

Prior to the game, they were also awarded a $5,000 grant from T-Mobile's Friday Night 5G Lights program. 

The nationwide grant opportunity is awarded to small schools whose community best showcases the Friday night experience online. 

North Decatur is one of 450 schools across the country that are receiving the grant this year. 

School officials said the money will go toward the football program or facility upgrades. 

“Our fans are the best around and we know that, and they just proved it again by supporting this initiative on social media,” said North Decatur Football staff member Val Stephen.
