North Vernon traffic stop leads to meth arrest

(NORTH VERNON, Ind.) – A traffic stop in North Vernon led to a meth arrest.
Officers say Danny Myers III was not wearing a seatbelt while driving on U.S. 50 near State Road 7.
It led to a traffic stop where police say they found methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
North Vernon Police Chief Keith Messer stated, “Our officers remain proactive in addressing violations that often lead to the discovery of more serious criminal activity and help keep our community safe.”
Myers was charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Paraphernalia, Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated, and Driving While Suspended.
