O'Mara Foods named Indiana Chamber small business of the year finalist

One of three finalists statewide

(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – A longtime Greensburg company has been named a finalist for Small Business of the Year by the Indiana Chamber of Commerce.

O’Mara Foods was recognized statewide for their level of community involvement and track record of success.

It was founded in 1936 by Joe O’Mara and the family business is now in its fourth generation and led by Blake O’Mara.

O’Mara was one of only three small businesses statewide to be named a finalist for Small Business of the Year.

Companies with 100 or fewer employees were eligible for consideration and they were judged on several factors including leadership and community involvement.

The Indiana Chamber named a custom home builder from Bargersville and a retailer in New Albany as the winners of the Small Business of the Year.
