OA grad named school's new Director of Admissions

(OLDENBURG, Ind.) – An Oldenburg Academy graduate has been named the school’s new Director of Admissions. 

Abe Streator graduated from OA in 2022 and recently earned his diploma from Indiana University. 

Streator will lead the school’s admissions and enrollment efforts including events, campus visits, summer camps, scholarship applications and outreach to prospective students and families. 

He will also work closely with partner schools, student ambassadors, and the administrative team to support enrollment growth and strengthen the OA community. 

Streator describes it as an honor to return back to his alma mater in this leadership role. 

“OA played such an important part in my personal, academic, and spiritual growth, and I look forward to sharing that experience with future students and families. I am grateful for the opportunity to give back to the community that helped shape who I am today,” Streator said. 

Oldenburg Academy president Annette Hunger says Abe’s enthusiasm and leadership will be huge addition to the school. 

“His connection to OA and ability to build relationships with students and families will serve our school community well as we continue to grow and strengthen our mission,” Hunger said.
