(OLDENBURG, Ind.) – Oldenburg Academy students got involved in a fun memorial project on Monday.
57-year-old Roger Jansing, of Franklin County, passed away in 2020.
To honor his memory, his family holds a ‘Jack-O-Lantern Drive By’ in the St. Mary’s area every year.
On Monday, 45 members of the Oldenburg junior class took time to carve pumpkins in honor of Jansing.
Those jack-o-lanterns and others will soon be along the roadside at 15080 Pine Road in Brookville. It takes place from Ocober 22 to October 31 and the community is encouraged to drive by!
