Officials: Man killed by firework explosion in Dearborn Co.

(LAWRENCEBURG, Ind.) – Local first responders answered a call of a person injured at a property on Liddle Road in the Bright area on Sunday, June 7.

Upon arrival, responders located an individual who was allegedly injured by a firework. 

That individual was transferred to a Cincinnati hospital where local authorities say the person succumbed to their injuries. 

The identity of that person is not known. 

The incident is under investigation as the Indiana Fire Marshal’s Office is requesting anyone with information, or was a witness, to contact the Office of the State Fire Marshal Investigations division at 317-232-6435.
