Ohio County Tourism has grant program to market nonprofit events

(RISING SUN, Ind.) – Ohio County Tourism is accepting applications for their 2027 Marketing Grant program. 

Nonprofit organizations that promote tourism and overnight stays in Rising Sun and Ohio County are eligible to apply. The events and projects must take place in 2027. 

“The grants are intended to help offset marketing and promotional expenses, including brochures, posters, advertising, signs, banners, and other materials for events or projects,” said Ohio County Tourism executive director Kendal Miller. 

Grant applications and guidelines are available at the Visitors Center between 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. from Tuesdays through Fridays. The Visitors Center is located at 217 N. High Street in Rising Sun.

The applications are due by December 18 and the award recipients will be notified by February 28.
