Police believe a medical condition may have led to crash

(BATESVILLE, Ind.) – An Ohio woman was killed in a crash on I-74 near Batesville on Monday.
The single-vehicle accident happened around 2:30 p.m. near the 153 mile marker east of Batesville.
The Indiana State Police said 68-year-old Darla Tabor of Hamilton, Ohio, lost control of the vehicle and overturned for unknown reasons.
Tabor was transported to a Cincinnati hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Investigators believe a medical condition may have contributed to the crash. They do not believe alcohol or drugs were a factor.
"The evidence at the scene indicated that Tabor was not properly restrained in the vehicle which likely contributed to the injuries sustained," ISP Sgt. Stephen Wheeles said.
ISP Troopers were assisted by the Ripley County Sheriff’s Office, Batesville Police, Sunman Town Marshal, Batesville fire & Rescue, and the Hamilton County, Ohio Coroner’s Office.
