Oldenburg holds parade for WWII veteran who turned 100

(OLDENBURG, Ind.) – A World War II veteran in Oldenburg is celebrating a milestone birthday this weekend.
Larry Holtel turned 100-years-old on Friday, April 18.
The Town of Oldenburg held a parade past his house on Saturday afternoon.
The Oldenburg Police Department, Batesville VFW and Oldenburg Fire Department led the parade and they were followed by hundreds of vehicles.
There was also a 95th birthday parade for Larry in April 2020 during the COVID pandemic.
