Oldenburg nun serving ice cream as she celebrates birthday

(OLDENBURG, Ind.) – An Oldenburg nun who is well-known for her ice cream is celebrating her 92nd birthday today! 

Sister Cleo has served her homemade ice cream at the Carriage House in Oldenburg for nearly a decade. 

“Sister makes it a point to come to the store everyday to mix ice cream, do dishes, or her favorite, meet the people,” they said. 

People from across the country and world have stopped in the antique store for her ice cream and she would be happy to welcome you too.

Sister Cleo is celebrating her birthday by being at the store from 1-5 p.m. today. Carriage House is located at 22159 Main Street in Oldenburg.
