(OSGOOD, Ind.) – A benefit ride and fundraiser will be held for a South Ripley graduate battling kidney cancer on Saturday.
44-year-old Matthew Miller has resided in several communities in Southeast Indiana including Holton, Versailles, Milan Lawrenceburg and Dillsboro.
Family and friends describe Miller as a person who has gone above and beyond for others, without seeking any praise or attention.
The event will take place at the Osgood American Legion which is located at 120 South Elm Street in Osgood.
Registration begins at 9 a.m. and the ride will leave at 11 a.m. The all-day event will also feature two bands, dinner, raffles and a silent auction.
Organizers are also seeking donations for the benefit.
“We are looking for bottles of water and buns for the meal raffle items can be anything from material gift certificate amount or cash/check donation made out to Matthew Miller directly,” said Carol McCain.
You can contact McCain at 812-571-2817 or Delana Sevier at 812-584-7903 who are both available to pickup items ahead of the benefit.
