Palmer announces bid for Dearborn County Council - District 2

(LAWRENCEBURG, Ind.) – A local businessman has announced his candidacy for Dearborn County Council – District 2.
Tommy Palmer is running as a Republican and says he is committed to serviing the residents with integrity, accountability, and forward-thinking leadership.
The lifelong Dearborn County resident says his top priorities are fiscal responsibility, smart growth, communication with constituents, and long-term planning.
Palmer brings over 26 years of experience in business and financial management, currently serving as Vice President at Civista Wealth Management.
His professional background includes managing public investment funds, equipping him with the knowledge and expertise to safeguard taxpayer resources and ensure financial stability for the county.
Palmer has also served on numerous local boards:

Board Member, St. Elizabeth Foundation & Ambassadors

Palmer was awarded the 2015 Lauren Hill Award for Community Service, recognizing his dedication to improving the lives of others in Dearborn County.
“I am running because I care deeply about our community and its future,” Palmer said. “Dearborn County deserves leadership that is financially responsible, transparent, and focused on long-term success.”
Palmer is also the father of three daughters and added that he understands the importance of responsible decision-making and long-term planning.
