Passenger train to stop in Greensburg on Saturday

(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – Approximately 300 visitors will arrive in Greensburg by train on Saturday, September 26. 

It’s a journey that begins in Cincinnati and goes along the historic Big Four Railroad before reaching reaching Greensburg. 

The train is expected to arrive in town around 12 p.m. and the passengers will spend three hours exploring the downtown area while supporting businesses through dining and shopping. 

This has become an annual initiative that is made possible by the City of Greensburg, The Stellar Team and the Ohio Rail Experience. 

Community members are also encouraged to welcome visitors to Greensburg. For local railroad enthusiasts, the stop provides an opportunity to see the passenger train while it is in town. 

The Stellar Team is a partnership between City of Greensburg, Visit Greensburg, Main Street Greensburg, GDC Chamber of Commerce, Economic Development Corporation of Decatur County,  Decatur County Parks & Recreation, and Decatur County Community Foundation.
