Photos: Dearborn Adult Center hosts annual Senior Prom

(LAWRENCEBURG, Ind.) – Prom season is in full swing and those special nights don’t have to be limited to high schoolers!

The Dearborn Adult Center hosted their annual “Senior Prom” for those who are 55 and older on Friday. 

Organizers say it was an afternoon full of music, fun, laughter and smiles. 

They also named their 2026 Prom King & Queen which happened to be a local couple, Jim and Ann, who recently celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary. 

The Dearborn Adult Center stated, “They shared a sweet surprise when we asked about their first prom and most memorable moment—they both answered at the same time: “We never went to prom!”

The event was also made possible by Envive who catered food and a photography from Shady Nook who gave each attendee a free photo.
