Playing two games in Great American Ball Park this weekend

(CINCINNATI) – The Savannah Bananas played the first of two sold out games in Cincinnati on Friday.
The Savannah Bananas bring a unique fun-filled style of baseball where they put their focus on entertainment during games.
We spoke with a few fans from Batesville who described it as extremely entertaining with nonstop antics for several hours.
“There was everything from grandma-wrestling to toddler and doll baby races, a batter on a unicycle, a pitcher on stilts, dancing umpires, outfielders doing backflips and under the leg throws from third to first base,” one fan said.
Another Batesville resident said that the audience was younger than what you see at most Reds games and she feels the experience is turning more young kids into baseball fans.
Former Reds players Bronson Arroyo, Sean Casey and Todd Frazier were among guest batters during the game as well.
The Bananas will play in front of another sold out crowd at Great American Ball Park on Saturday.
For those planning to attend Saturday, the local fans added that the pregame activities were just as entertaining as the game itself.
