Photos: Greensburg’s midnight pep rally

(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – The community of Greensburg couldn’t wait to celebrate the state championship berth for the Lady Pirates. 

A pep rally was held early Sunday morning after the team returned from New Albany. 

The Lady Pirates beat Evansville Central Saturday afternoon and then topped Roncalli to earn a spot in the IHSAA Class 3A State Championship for the first time since 2018.

Greensburg will face Norwell in the state championship at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis at 6 p.m. Saturday.
