Podcast: Jac-Cen-Del students compete in Elementary Track Championship

Took place on Saturday

(OSGOOD, Ind.) – The Kentucky Derby wasn’t the only important race that took place on Saturday. 

Jac-Cen-Del hosted the Elementary Track Championship for their students in grades kindergarten through sixth. 

There were multiple running events as well as shot put and long jump.

The top three finishers from each grade will compete against South Ripley next weekend. 

Sixth grader Reece Patrick says this event isn’t just about finishing first. 

“We aren’t just out here to win, we’re out here having fun with competition,” Patrick said.
