Police: Drugs, stolen gun found during Madison raid

(MADISON, Ind.) – Drugs and stolen guns were allegedly discovered during a police raid in Madison. 

Police served a search warrant at a home on Fairmount Drive after investigating complaints of suspicious activity. 

52-year-old Jerry Diaz, of Madison, 39-year-old Marcelino Rodriguez, of Fort Wayne, and 18-year-old Zaid Diaz, of Madison, were arrested during the raid. 

Investigators say they found multiple guns, drugs and drug-related paraphernalia. 

“It was discovered that one of the firearms located during the search had previously been stolen out of Jennings County,” stated the Madison Police Department. 

Madison Police were assisted on scene by the Indiana State Police.
