(LIBERTY, Ind.) – A suspected drunk driver was arrested after allegedly almost crashing into police cars in Union County on Sunday night.
Deputies say Zachary Fryer, of Xenia, Ohio, was driving recklessly on State Road 44 near Stateline Road in Liberty.
“While attempting to make contact, the driver crossed the center line multiple times, driving into oncoming traffic almost striking both deputies,” the department said.
They were able to stop the vehicle near Salem Road and the investigation was conducted.
Police say Fryer had a blood alcohol content of 0.212, which is nearly three times the legal limit.
He also had a warrant for felony drug charges out of Chicago, police added.
Fryer was booked into the Union County Jail without further incident.
