Police: North Vernon man stole prescription meds, had meth

(NORTH VERNON, Ind.) – A North Vernon man is facing charges after an investigation by the Jennings County Sheriff’s Office. 

Deputies were investigating the possible theft of prescription medication and say they identified the suspect as Eric Wilson. 

Wilson was interviewed and a search warrant for his house was granted by a judge.  

Investigators say they recovered the stolen medications and also found 36.6 grams of methamphetamine, 43 grams of marijuana and other drug-related items. 

Wilson has been charged with several drug-related offenses as well as Theft.
