Police pursuit began in Batesville, went into Ohio

(BATESVILLE, Ind.) – A police chase went through Southeast Indiana and into Ohio on Friday afternoon. 

The pursuit began near Batesville and went on I-74 and traveled eastbound to the state line.  

“Indiana officers ended the pursuit at the state line,” ISP Sgt. Stephen Wheeles told The 812. 

Sgt. Wheeles was not able to confirm any information on the suspect at the time of this reporting. 

However, WLWT is reporting that a chase from Indiana into Ohio today involved a suspect wanted in a vehicular homicide investigation. Ohio authorities are still searching for that suspect.
