Portion of S.R. 250 in Switzerland Co. to close until May

(PLEASANT TWP., Ind.) – A portion of State Road 250 in Switzerland County is expected to be closed for more than a month. 

A box culvert replacement project will take place on S.R. 250 between Aaron Road and Township Line Road beginning on Monday, April 6. 

The road is expected to reopen in mid-May. 

During the closure, motorists should use the official detour route, which follows S.R. 129 to S.R. 56.

Officials said an additional closure will take place on S.R. 250 following this project. 

The work is being done by Morphey Construction.
