Portion of U.S. 421 near Napoleon to close until July

(NAPOLEON, Ind.) – A portion of U.S. 421 near Napoleon will be closed for two months. 

A culvert replacement project will take place north of State Road 229 between County Road 550 East and County Road 700 East.

It’s expected to begin May 18 and be complete in late July. 

During the closure, motorists should use the official detour route which follows S.R. 350 to S.R. 129 to S.R. 46 back to U.S. 421.

INDOT officials said Dave O’ Mara Contractors are conducting the $2.9M project.
