Family announced their decision Wednesday

(SUNMAN, Ind.) – The family-owned Railyard Bar & Grille in Sunman has announced it will close this month.
The restaurant is owned by Don and Pam Deller and has been in operation since 2020. Their daughter, Samantha, is also heavily involved in the day-to-day operations of the business.
Don suffered a medical situation earlier this year which has sidelined him from the restaurant.
“Sam and I have been working non-stop to keep the doors open but it is wearing us down. Our staff has been tremendous through everything but it’s wearing them down too,” Pam said.
The family was hoping to keep the restaurant open until the building was sold as a turn-key operation.
However, they announced on Wednesday that the Railyard will permanently close on June 28.
“We have tried to hang in there for as long as we can but all good things must come to an end. We truly value the friendships we have made and want to thank all of our supporters over the years,” Pam added.
The Railyard is located at 104 S Meridian Street in Sunman.
