(NORTH VERNON, Ind.) – Congresswoman Erin Houchin (R-District 9) has announced that her office has returned more than $10 million to local residents since 2023.
Her office regularly assists residents with issues involving federal agencies such as the Social Security Administration, Internal Revenue Service and Department of Veterans Affairs.
Rep. Houchin says her team helps people navigate and resolve issues ranging from slow response times, delayed tax returns, Social Security benefits and other situations involving the federal government.
Since taking office in 2023, Rep. Houchin said her priority has been to put her constituents first and deliver tangible results.
“This milestone of $10 million returned is a testament to our team’s responsiveness, professionalism, and commitment to service. If you need assistance with a federal agency, please reach out to my office. We are here to help,” Rep. Houchin said.

“With help from Congresswoman Houchin’s office, we were able to receive our refund for not just this year, but for each year it was held. Congresswoman Houchin’s team displayed professionalism and excellence through the entire process,” Debra said.
