Reports: 2 cars in water along Blue Creek Road

(BROOKVILLE, Ind.) – We’re receiving reports of multiple vehicles in water in Franklin County. 

Emergency workers are responding to at least two vehicles in water on Blue Creek Road as of 8:45 p.m. Wednesday. 

Blue Creek Road has reportedly now been closed due to the flooding.

These are developing situations and The 812 will provide more information when its made available. 

A Flash Flood Warning is in effect for Franklin, Dearborn and Ripley counties until 11:45 p.m. Wednesday.

Franklin County has also issued an Orange Travel Advisory, meaning only essential travel, such as to and from work or in emergency situations, is recommended.

Drivers are strongly encouraged to not drive through water on roadways.
