Ripley Co. Health Department offers prenatal vitamins

(VERSAILLES, Ind.) – The Ripley County Health Department now offers prenatal vitamins.
It’s a free resource provided by the health department and each bottle contains a 6-month supply.
“Most people are unaware that it's recommended women start taking a prenatal vitamin before getting pregnant, and they should continue to take it for several months after giving birth--even if they're not breastfeeding,” the health department stated.
The health department partners with Vitamin Angels and there are also brochures in English and Spanish available.
Vitamins are available for pickup at the health department which is located in the Ripley County Annex Building.
