Ripley County CROP Hunger Walk will be held Sunday

(MILAN, Ind.) –  The annual Ripley County CROP Hunger Walk will take place in Milan on Sunday, October 4.

The CROP Hunger Walk is organized annually by the Church World Service  to raise funds and awareness to end domestic and global hunger and poverty. 

Churches across Ripley County come together every year to participate in the event as well.  

This year’s event will be held at the First Baptist Church Shelter at 112 South Main Street in Milan. 

Registration will begin at 12:30 p.m. and the 1-mile walk will start at 1 p.m. 

There will also be lunch served from 12-1 p.m. and music will be performed by Safe In The Harbor.
