Ripley County Film Fest takes place June 3-6

(OSGOOD, Ind.) – The Ripley County Community Foundation will host their second annual Film Fest on June 3-6.


The Ripley County Film Fest will feature 13 original short movies from filmmakers across Southeast Indiana and surrounding states. 


The four-day event will be hosted at the Damm Theatre in Osgood and the Gibson Theatre in Batesville. 


Each night will feature a selection of original shorts followed by a screening of a popular Hollywood movie.


All screenings are free and open to the public and the Ivy Tech Foundation has provided free small popcorn at all shows.

  • Wednesday, June 3: The Damm Theatre, Osgood – 6:30 PM

    • My Turn 

    • Gift Horse

    • Going Out 

    • Knees in the Dust

    • Hollywood Film: Pride & Prejudice


  • Thursday, June 4: The Gibson Theatre, Batesville – 6:30 PM

    • Dear Cupid – Part Two

    • Balloons

    • One of a Kind Advice

    • The Last Illusion

    • Hollywood Film: The Patriot


  • Friday, June 5: The Damm Theatre, Osgood – 6:30 PM

    • Spare Me!

    • The Villain Within 

    • Bedtime Story 

    • The Void 

    • IVAN

    • 48 Hour Film Challenge Submissions

    • Hollywood Film: Saving Private Ryan


  • Grand Finale - Saturday, June 6: The Gibson Theatre, Batesville – 6:30 PM

    • Awards Ceremony, which includes a screening of the winning films, and

    • Panel discussion with the directors to discuss their creative process and answer audience questions.
