Ripley County first responders safely locate missing teen

(DELAWARE, Ind.) – First responders quickly came together to locate a missing teenager in Ripley County on Saturday.
A 13-year-old boy was missing in the Delaware area and it led to a large search involving numerous agencies.
The Ripley County Sheriff’s Office, Osgood Fire Department, Delaware Volunteer Fire Department and Versailles Fire all responded to the area.
They were assisted by Ripley County EMA, Ripley County EMS and Ripley County Dispatch.
Officials say they deployed two drones and also utilized UTV’s to search the area.
The boy was safely located after about an hour-long search on Saturday afternoon.
The identity of the teen will not be released.
