Scholarships available for students who want to pursue cosmetology

(BATESVILLE, Ind.) – Do you know a student who is interested in cosmetology?

The Ripley County Community Foundation is accepting applications for the Corinne’s Believers Memorial Scholarship.

21-year-old Corrine Lamping had a love for cosmetology and attended the Aveda Fredric’s Institute of Indianapolis.

She unexpectedly passed away in a car accident in Oldenburg in February 2012. 

Her family has launched the scholarship to support students who want to attend the Aveda Frederic Institute. 

“The trades are essential to a thriving community, and by supporting students pursuing careers in cosmetology, we’re investing in local talent, entrepreneurship, and lifelong careers that directly serve our neighbors,” said RCCF executive director Amy Streator.

The application and full eligibility criteria for each scholarship are available on the Ripley County Community Foundation’s website at https://rccfonline.org/scholarships/. 

The deadline to submit applications for this scholarship is June 1.
