Search continues for missing Shelbyville man

(SHELBYVILLE, Ind.) – The search for a missing Shelbyville man is continuing this weekend.
61-year-old Lyle Stanton was last seen on March 3 and a Silver Alert has been issued.
Police conducted a search of an area near Walkerville Bridge on Saturday in reference to Stanton’s disappearance.
“During the search, several items were located; however, at this time, none have been confirmed to be directly associated with Mr. Stanton,” the Shelbyville Police Department said.
Community members also organized a search around the Shelby County Babe Ruth baseball fields on Saturday morning.
Stanton was last seen wearing a white or black shirt with blue jeans. He is described as 5’10” and 185 pounds.
