SEIRD hosting art contest for local students

(VERSAILLES, Ind.) – The Southeast Indiana Recycling District (SEIRD) is hosting an art contest for local children. 

Third, fourth and fifth graders are encouraged to design a flyer that promotes recycling. 

“Our winner's design will be printed on a t-shirt, and each student in their classroom will be given a shirt as well,” SEIRD said. 

The top three winners will also have their artwork featured on the SEIRD website and social media. 

Entries are due by November 10 and they can be mailed to 6556 North Shun Pike Road, Madison, Indiana 47250. 

Be sure to write the student’s name, grade, teacher and school as well as how to contact their parents on the back of the artwork.
