SEIRD offering environmental-related scholarships

(MADISON, Ind.) – The Southeastern Indiana Recycling District (SEIRD) is offering a scholarship for high school seniors.
The Environmental Difference scholarship is for students who are involved or have shown involvement in environmentally-related studies and activities.
Eligible students must attend a high school in either Franklin, Jefferson, Jennings, Ohio, Ripley, Scott, or Switzerland County. Each high school can have multiple nominees.
The minimum individual award will be $500 with a combined total not to exceed $7,000.
“We are looking to assist those students that have given their time and efforts towards making their school or community more environmentally responsible,” SEIRD stated.
