Several female track athletes qualify for state on Tuesday

State finals will be held June 7 in Indianapolis

(GREENSBURG, Ind.) – Several local track athletes qualified for state during their Regional competitions on Tuesday.
North Decatur senior Madi Allen broke a school record in the 300M and won her regional competition.
Oldenburg Academy’s Rachel Suttman won her regional in discus.
Two East Central athletes also punched their ticket to state. Senior Rylee Edwards placed in the long jump and junior Callie Bentley in the 800M.
South Ripley hurdler Alexa set a new school record in the 100M hurdles and also advanced to state.
Batesville sophomore Ella King qualified in shot put.
Greensburg senior Olivia Grimes will compete in two sports at state! She won the regional in both shot put and discus.
Lawrenceburg's Ava Merkel qualifies in the 100M Dash.
Switzerland County runner Madison Spilman qualified for state in the 100M Dash.
