Severe storms possible Wednesday

(NEW POINT, Ind.) – Severe weather is possible in Southeast Indiana over the next day.
Scattered storms are possible late tonight and early Wednesday with large hail being the primary threat. Strong winds are also possible.
Another round of storms move into the area Wednesday afternoon with damaging winds, large hail and a few tornadoes possible.
Looking ahead, there is no rain in the forecast from Thursday until Saturday with the high temperature not exceeding 60 degrees.
“Windy conditions are likely during the daytime Friday, with gusts around 40-45 MPH likely, particularly during the morning and afternoon,” stated the National Weather Service.
